~A New Beginning~

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I just came back from Curve... oh wow, super jam but it was worth it.. The fireworks were awesome!! The performances wouldn't be nice at all if Jaclyn Victor wasn't there.. She saved the day.. ha ha..

Okies.. Looking back on 2009... Damn, it's kinda hard to look back.. My heart just feels weird when I think back about things that happened in 2009.. There were good times but I think the bad times are bad enough to drown the good things.. Oh well, it gives me more reason to look forward to 2010!! I'm OUT of 2009, yay!!

2010 will be a new beginning to everything in my life.. I've a few New Year's Resolutions in mind=)

1. Spend more time with people who loves me for who I am. They are the ones who will never leave me no matter what shit happens.

2. Spend loads of girlie time with my sister & BFF, Siu Ching. She's the best present in my life=)

3. Get lots of long lasting friends that can influence me in positive ways.

4. Be focused on what's important for my future which is my education. I've to start with the right foot for my Degree. No slacking or fooling around.

5. Be more independent in every part of my life.

6. Try different baking recipes during my free time. My new found hobby=)

7. Lastly, the most important thing in my life. Finding a church where I can feel like I'm a family & where I can worship God freely without being judged. I want to do great things for His kingdom^^

Okay, I have more than a few Resolutions but I'm all hyped up to make every Resolution a success =) Woohoo!!

~Bukit Tinggi Outing~

Ooooo~~~ Another awesome outing!!!

Everything about our 2 days 1 night trip was fabulous!!!

I'll make this post as short as possible coz I dun wan to be too draggy =P

On the 27th of Dec, we drove up to Selesa Hill Resort, where we spent the night^^ My parents have a studio unit over there so accommodation's F.O.C!! Woo-hoo! he he

After putting our bags into the apartment, we headed out to the Japanese Garden, Botanical Garden, and Colmar Tropicale!!

Japanese Garden was freaking freaking freaking BEAUTIFUL!! I went there when I was younger but it seriously got more beautiful maybe coz of the cold weather and more plants grew.. The place was like a dream because it was covered with fogs and the air was soooooo fresh.. My gosh, wish the whole earth was like that.. ha ha..

Then, we walked to the Botanical Garden... The flowers are not as awesome as the ones at the Queen's Garden, Thailand, but I loved the weather and the greeneries=D ... I've some pictures to show u too^^

Then, we went to Colmar Tropicale... I love the French design and all but I really did not like the part where I didn't even win any Teddy Bears from the fair.. sobsob.. I spent RM12 on the tokens and I couldn't even win myself one single bear... sobsob!! Anyway, I loved being there and I loved the smell of the place=) I'll post up pictures once I get them.. he he..

After taking all the pictures, we decided to head back before it gets too dark to drive down the windy hills.. We went to McD's at Genting Sempah for our dinner and it's the best McD I've been so far.. it's like the 5star McD.. ha ha.. maybe it was coz we're so very hungry^^

Then, we went home and checked out the resort.. Every part of the day was awesome^^

~Memorable Christmas~

Christmas night was really sweet.. The good news was my brownies turned out fabulous!!! I found a new hobby, BAKING.. he he..

I won't elaborate much on my Christmas night because it was a really personal experience.. All I can say that it went well and people were happy^^ I'm happy to be adding all that happened into my beautiful memories of the past^^

I can show you one of the pictures of that night just to give you a glimpse of it.. but just the picture will do the talking.. I forgot to take good pictures of my brownies coz it was devoured so quickly I can't take a picture of them on time! haha.. Don't worry, I'll be baking more of them so I'll let you see the pictures and might also let you taste them! ha ha

~Raub, My Therapeutic Town~

The one place that I can count on for comfort is definitely my peaceful little town, Raub. Of course, it won't be comforting if my best friend, Siu Ching, is not at Raub. I think she's the reason why Raub is so peaceful and comforting.. ha ha.. Love you sis!!

Being at Raub for 4 days was almost like a roller coaster ride.. It turned out that Siu Ching and I both needed comforting from each other so things got a bit messy!! ha ha.. We both had puffed up faces on the 1st and 2nd day.. it's actually quite funny coz Siu Ching's sisters and brother were there in the room with us and they did not know what to do! ha ha.. We were both damn emo and tried comforting one another... Okay, to cut the story short.. we talked, cried, talked, cried, talked, cried... THEN, we had loads and loads of fun and laughter!!! It's like we suddenly found heaven and we were on cloud nine... HAHA... yea, emotional roller coaster ride..

Then, on the 3rd day, we baked brownies!!! I was observing the baking procedures so closely the whole time coz it'll be useful for the Christmas surprise I was planning for Daniel^^ Siu Ching's first time baking brownies was a success!! I hope mine will be a success too when I bake brownies for the first time on my own... Fingers crossed!! =X

After the baking session, we rested awhile before getting ready for our girl's night out.. he he.. We went to Green Circle!! It's a super comfy place to hang out.. It's like a home cafe.. We took off our shoes and sat on the floor Japanese style.. There were books to read, board games to play, and it was not crowded at all... I loved it!! Below are some of the pictures we took =)

Adoi~~ My whole body aching.... Yesterday was the first time I went to a gym after almost a year of not exercising.... lol.. I'm really happy though because I found the time to do something beneficial to my body.. I'm gonna find more time to work out.. Seriously.. I'm not feeling as fit as a young person should be..

What's in store for today?? I'm bringing my maid out for a hair-cut..he he.. She still doesn't know yet, gonna surprise her when I go home.. ha ha ha..

Yesterday was a great Sushi Day! However, there's a catch! Ha ha.. We didn't get to eat the Sushi Bonanza that costs RM2 per sushi plate.. the queue was super duper extremely LONG!!! So, we decided to divert our sushi craving at Sushi King to................. Sakae Sushi!! Not really a happy meal though... The waitresses were so busy entertaining the other customers that we had to call them umpteenth times.. My sorbet took forever to come after we finished our main meals.. Wanna see?? ~Sushi After A Tiring Day~

Work today wasn't really tiring but the days before this really took a toll on my body.. I was going home after 6pm everyday after work coz of the events this week and next week too.. I can hardly open my eyes everyday at work.. My physique's not as tough as a guy's so driving home late every night this week is just slowly draining me.. Oh well, I guess working in a company of mainly guys, I've to be as tough as them.. hmm...

Anyway, I've not seen my bestie for a super darn long time.. So, I've to meet her for sushi tonight! Excited!! But will try not to eat too much raw things.. gotta take care of my health..sob sob..

Oh yea, I'm still at work by the way.. ha ha.. Going to pack up and leave soon.. This week and next week's gonna be packed so I can't promise that I'll update everyday.. Till then...

~Limkokwing??? =_="... why the face?~

Yesteday was a whirlwind.. One second I was talking to counselors.. the next I'm signed up for 2 unis! I'm ......................... WORRIED.

I'm excited to start my degree next year.. but.. I'm not sure if letting go of my job is a right choice.. Sigh.. I'm learning so much that I just wanna keep learning and learning in the company.. Oh well.. No point worrying because getting a degree is so very important too..

Another thing I'm worried about is.. should I go to Limkokwing or Monash??? Oh my goodness gracious.. I'm so lost.. Limkokwing is RM40,000 cheaper than Monash because of my results and I only have to study for 1 and a half years to get my degree.. But what worries me about Limkokwing is the culture in the campus.. I've been there before when there were students around and the environment is just so very different.. Sigh.. I'm freaking nervous.. In Monash, at least I'm more familiar with the environment and I'm used to the culture in Subang... But it's definitely more pricey and I've to do a minimum of 2 years to get my degree..

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I guess I've to deal with the culture shock that I might have if I go to Limkokwing.. I just hope I won't breakdown or anything like tat...

Oh well.. yesterday wasn't all that bad.. Daniel came to pick me up for a movie date.. Pheeww.. It's been a long time since I got to really relax from my hectic event life.. It's really tough balancing the time I have with my family, bf, friends, and work.. The only time I have to spend with my parents is on the weekends coz they only come down on the weekends.. Imagine having to cramp all the time I have with my family, friends, and Daniel during the weekends... Sigh.. I just don't feel like I've enough time at all for my loved ones..

Should I continue working till January next year before I start my degree? Coz if I do.. Will I have time for my loved ones working like this?? Oh gee...

This week will be one of the most hectic weeks coz of the road shows coming up.. Oh Lord, bless me with the strength.. I praise You and I thank You for all the blessings and prayers that you've answered.. Give me strength..

I miss her.. I so wanna take a break from all this and go visit her and the other girls.. I love you girls to bits.. Oh Heavenly Father, bless them with smooth roads in front of them..may their futures be bright.. Amen.

~Another Sibuk Day~

My day was practically full from start to end.. It was interesting though.. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to learn new things from the company.. Thank God=D What makes me happy the most is being able to finish all my tasks before the day ends because I'll be really stressed if I don't. I'll be thinking about the work even when I'm at home.. I'm not good at putting work aside when I'm supposed to be resting at home, tat's why it's important that I finish my work a.s.a.p.

(The above paragraph is damn boring, hahahahhhahhahhahahahahahahhaha)

Wokies, anyway, after work, I went home and went to Giant with my Dad to buy groceries.. fun!! I love doing groceries.. he he.. Then, I went home and washed up, and ate dinner, and.................... ATE DURIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm now watching TV with my parents and brother.. I've to wake up at 6am tomorrow!! Gonna go to Monash and Limkokwing to talk to counselors.. Hmm..we'll see wat happens..

Next week will be more packed than this week.. I've road shows to coordinate and set up.. Oh gee.. May God give me the strength and boldness.. I'll update more when I've more interesting to write! Sorry for the boring blog.. As usual, here's a picture to end the post!

~Busy Bee~

Today's work started off on a boring note... I had nothing much to do during the first part of the day.. All I did was calling performers for their quotations, did some documentation for upcoming events, etc etc.. Things were going pretty slow UNTIL my boss came to give me a task that I actually enjoy.. ha ha.

The task was....... to take out the old fliers out of 1,000 something copies of company portfolios! Imagine me going through every portfolio and taking out a flier.. I had a few paper cuts here and there but nothing serious.. In all honesty, I actually enjoyed it because it helped me burn some time off the slow paced day.. seriously.

After spending almost an hour or more taking out those fliers, my fingers were all jittery.. damn.. I'm not sure if my fingers can build muscles.. ha ha.. Anyway, after that interesting task, my supervisor handed me another task.. This was quite simple so I finished it in less than 30 minutes.. I had to do the work order sheet for a company that's providing us some materials for an event.. After that, I............................................ played DIGIMON! ha ha.. i know i know.. I'm childish, but my brother got me hooked to it.. so, call me childish if u want, huh!

Later on, my supervisor came to tell me that there's a meeting in the boss' room. I took my notebook and went to the meeting. I liked the meeting because I was given more exciting tasks to do! We'll be planning events for the next few months and I'm telling you, these events are...................... AWESOME!!!! I can't reveal them until they're over.. tee hee hee.. Hopefully, I can stay in the company till the event day though coz my internship is only till the end of this month. We'll see how things goes.. Fingers crossed=D

When it was time for me to leave the office, my dad called and he didn't call to say hi to me, he called to tell me to walk the dogs! ha ha.. my gosh.. So, I went home and told my maid to walk the dogs with me. I'm warning you if you ever go out with me, I'm BAD with directions!! Can you believe it if I told you that I got lost in my own 'taman'??? Ha ha, I DID!!! I couldn't find my way home so my maid and I walked the whole damn big neighborhood searching for my house!! ha ha, by the time I got back, it was around 8pm and it was dark.

Talking about the walk with my dogs, we were almost bitten by a damn large and fierce dog!! The dog came chasing us and the dogs and almost bit my dogs. I was soooooooooooooooooooo ANGRY at the owner because he didn't chain his untamed dog. How can an owner let his dog run loose when it's so damn wild! My dogs barked loudly at the big dog and it didn't try to attack us anymore but ran across the road and almost got banged by a car.. Stupid dog, should have gotten banged by the car because it has no manners at all.. especially the uneducated owner.. My gosh, damn pissed...

Ha ha, okie, enough of all those pissed off talks, I've nothing to blog anymore because nothing interesting has happened in my life because I'm always at the office on weekdays and I'm real tired when I come home.. However, this weekend, I'll be going to Monash to talk to a counselor about my study choices.. So, we'll see what happens because I'm totally clueless about my future..

~Back from Hibernation~ *haha

I've not been blogging for............................ 6 months!! woooooooot!! who's the lazy person here? YOU!! ha ha. Anyway, I've decided to blog today because I've some free time in the office. For those who do not know, I'm currently doing my internship at an event company for 2 months. I'll be ending my internship the end of this month if everything goes well. As for what I'l'l do after? I'm honestly not sure, I might continue working or I've to take some time off to go university scouting for degree.

I've lots of things that I didn't blog about for the past 6 months but I think that'll be old news if I blog bout it now. So, from now on, I'll just blog about wat's happening this month and the months after, hopefully I won't get the lazy spell again.. =_='

Interning is an eye-opening experience. I've truly enjoyed it during my first month. I would say that amongst all the fields in Mass Communications, event management is my cup of tea. I've personally not tried the other fields like broadcasting, journalism, and etc. However, imagining me as a person handling the camera and writing creative articles is quite depressing. As you can see, my writing isn't that creative for a journalist. Ha ha.

I've received advice from my supervisor and some counsellors that doing a degree in events management is quite useless because what they truly see isn't your certificate but your experience. I truly agree. Hence, it's much wiser to do a general degree in Mass Communications. However, I can't help but wonder if I'll be able to cope with studying degree and working part-time in an event company because I truly love doing events.

Stopping work entirely would just mean that I've to start work over again after my degree. That's not a really good thought because I would be rusty in the events field and lose out on my contacts in the event circle. Keeping in touch with clients and my colleagues and having a good relationship with them helps me get better and learn more useful things about event planning. Oh well, getting a degree is important for my future, I'll just go with the flow then =(

Interning now does not give me any time to go uni scouting. I barely have any idea where I wanna go for my degree. Sigh. It's horrible not knowing what's in store for your future. Maybe, just maybe, I'll enjoy working in a radio station, or a tv station, just pray and hope that the opportunity comes at the right time.

Okies, enough of the emo-ish talk. I kinda miss my dog, CoCo, now, so I'll show you her cutest pictures!!! ha ha ha.. she has nothing to do with my blog post but she's sure a cutie to look at!

~Church Women's Ministry Dinner~

Siu Ching and I signed up for CCKL's Women's Ministry Dinner... So, the plan went like this.. Yesterday was a Tuesday so I didn't have classes so I stayed at home studyin Moral.. Then, I told my brother to pick Siu Ching up from Sunway College because he had classes at Sunway today too.. So he picked her up at Sunway Hostel at 5pm and they came back to my house... Then, I showered, followed by Siu Ching, and we tried on lots of dresses till we find the perfect ones for both of us! Ha ha..it was kinda funny.. we were taking off this and putting on that.. ha ha.. So, I wore the dress that Darling Daniel bought for me for my birthday! Thank you baby.. I know I should've worn it on my birthday but Siu Ching din bring any dress from Raub so she had to borrow mine.. Thank you baby for letting me wear it yesterday night.. Love you very much!!Then, we put on our makeup, did our hair... When we were completely ready looking gorgeous, we camwhored!! ha ha ha.. Here are those pictures.. =D

Then, my brother fetched us to Indian Heritage at Taipan... The restaurant is really really ellegant.... So beautiful.. Then we ate the most delicious Indian food ever!! With Dori fish from Australia and mutton from New Zealand.. everything was soooooo good!!! Then, Pastor Jemima shared about our Women's Ministry.. It was a great night.. Then, my brother fetched Siu Ching home and I went home after too!! And................ I camwhored!!! hahahahahahaha... in the toilet!!hahahahahaha...

~Girl's Day Out~

This happened a few weeks back but I'm gonna post it up now! Coz I'm now juggling my time between studying for the crappy Moral paper this Thursday, playing Restaurant City, playing Pet Society, Youtubing, and blogging! Okies.. So, since Siu Ching came to Sunway, I never really had the chance to go out with her just the two of us girls^^ So, I decided to ask her if she wants me to pick her up from her hostel, go to Pyramid, and come over to my place to stay!! She agreed and we were shoooo excited!!

So Saturday afternoon, I picked her up from the hostel and we went to Pyramid.. We did window shopping.. Trying on dresses... Camwhoring... We ate KFC.. Watched MallCorp and we also ate the ever soooooo divine, Snowy Mango Serbet with loads and loads of Mango on Sago!!! My gosh, every bite felt like paradise..everything around us was soooo beautiful n awesome at that time... hahahaha.. =P Here's the interesting part... the pictures!!

After our dressing up sessions and lots of camwhoring, we went to my house!!! Siu Ching loved my Internet connection coz it was faster than her hostel's... lol... i had to force her to eat dinner coz she din wanna leave the computer... ha ha.. Then, we spent long hours on the computer chatting and playing games and all.. then, we had our very own dress up and make up sessions! ha ha... this is what makes a sleepover perfect and girly.. he he.. So, I put on some make up for Siu Ching and we wore dresses and all.. ha ha ha.. Then, we were drop dead tired, we just slept straightaway once we hit the bed... ha ha.. All in all, it was everything that a girl does during a Girl's Day Out and we loved it^^ Love you Sis!
