~Wedding Performance~

Okay Okay... I know I've not been blogging for a long long time and it's kinda like the wrong time for me to blog coz I'll be having mid-terms starting tomorrow..ha ha.. Anyways, I just need a break from studying so here goes...

On the 5th of September, Daniel and I went to Ipoh for a wedding dinner together with my parents.. My parents and I picked up Daniel from his college after he finished his Friday classes.. Then, we drove almost 3 hours to Ipoh and went to the wedding site.. Daniel and I were the special performers for that night.. So we rehearsed our performance once we reached the place..

After almost 2 hours of practicing.. we went to the condo pent-house (the place where we stayed), to get ready for the night.. Everyone got dressed and we rushed to the wedding site so we only had time to take one shot of me before leaving the condo..

Tada!!

It was raining so it was pretty cold.. Fortunately I brought my shawl along.. The situation was kinda chaotic when we reached coz Aunty Loke (the groom's mom) was really busy and had no time to tell us what was really happening.. So, Daniel and I looked for the MC for the night and he was also blurred on what to do.. ha ha.. Anyways, we discussed among each other how the itenary would be like for the performance and we sat down and waited for our performance..

Daniel and I sat at the piano and he played some songs before the bride entered.. Daniel played Canon in D for the wedding entrance.. It was a really beautiful moment.. Then, when everyone was settled down, we performed our first song dedicated to the bride and groom.. Daniel and I sang How Beautiful by Twila Paris (it is the second background song in this blog).. Then, we rested awhile and ate the buffet dinner..

After eating, we performed our second song which was When Somebody Loved Me in Toy Story 2.. Then, Daniel sang two solos which was Ronan Keating's When You Say Nothing At All and Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.. Loads of people clapped for Daniel's version of I Will Always Love You.. I really really loved it and it was the best for the night..

After our performance, we continued eating then we took pictures..

After Our Performance

After everything was over, we had fun catching up with people I've not met for years and we met lots of new great people.. The photographers, the relatives, and the coolest soundman ever, Justin, should have taken a picture with him, he looks like a Black guy but he's Indian, super cool person.. Ha ha.. Anyways, we had LLLOOOAADDSS of FUUNNN!! The remaining days in Ipoh were all about FOOD..ha ha.. Me Happy^^
