~Another Sibuk Day~

My day was practically full from start to end.. It was interesting though.. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to learn new things from the company.. Thank God=D What makes me happy the most is being able to finish all my tasks before the day ends because I'll be really stressed if I don't. I'll be thinking about the work even when I'm at home.. I'm not good at putting work aside when I'm supposed to be resting at home, tat's why it's important that I finish my work a.s.a.p.

(The above paragraph is damn boring, hahahahhhahhahhahahahahahahhaha)

Wokies, anyway, after work, I went home and went to Giant with my Dad to buy groceries.. fun!! I love doing groceries.. he he.. Then, I went home and washed up, and ate dinner, and.................... ATE DURIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm now watching TV with my parents and brother.. I've to wake up at 6am tomorrow!! Gonna go to Monash and Limkokwing to talk to counselors.. Hmm..we'll see wat happens..

Next week will be more packed than this week.. I've road shows to coordinate and set up.. Oh gee.. May God give me the strength and boldness.. I'll update more when I've more interesting to write! Sorry for the boring blog.. As usual, here's a picture to end the post!

~Busy Bee~

Today's work started off on a boring note... I had nothing much to do during the first part of the day.. All I did was calling performers for their quotations, did some documentation for upcoming events, etc etc.. Things were going pretty slow UNTIL my boss came to give me a task that I actually enjoy.. ha ha.

The task was....... to take out the old fliers out of 1,000 something copies of company portfolios! Imagine me going through every portfolio and taking out a flier.. I had a few paper cuts here and there but nothing serious.. In all honesty, I actually enjoyed it because it helped me burn some time off the slow paced day.. seriously.

After spending almost an hour or more taking out those fliers, my fingers were all jittery.. damn.. I'm not sure if my fingers can build muscles.. ha ha.. Anyway, after that interesting task, my supervisor handed me another task.. This was quite simple so I finished it in less than 30 minutes.. I had to do the work order sheet for a company that's providing us some materials for an event.. After that, I............................................ played DIGIMON! ha ha.. i know i know.. I'm childish, but my brother got me hooked to it.. so, call me childish if u want, huh!

Later on, my supervisor came to tell me that there's a meeting in the boss' room. I took my notebook and went to the meeting. I liked the meeting because I was given more exciting tasks to do! We'll be planning events for the next few months and I'm telling you, these events are...................... AWESOME!!!! I can't reveal them until they're over.. tee hee hee.. Hopefully, I can stay in the company till the event day though coz my internship is only till the end of this month. We'll see how things goes.. Fingers crossed=D

When it was time for me to leave the office, my dad called and he didn't call to say hi to me, he called to tell me to walk the dogs! ha ha.. my gosh.. So, I went home and told my maid to walk the dogs with me. I'm warning you if you ever go out with me, I'm BAD with directions!! Can you believe it if I told you that I got lost in my own 'taman'??? Ha ha, I DID!!! I couldn't find my way home so my maid and I walked the whole damn big neighborhood searching for my house!! ha ha, by the time I got back, it was around 8pm and it was dark.

Talking about the walk with my dogs, we were almost bitten by a damn large and fierce dog!! The dog came chasing us and the dogs and almost bit my dogs. I was soooooooooooooooooooo ANGRY at the owner because he didn't chain his untamed dog. How can an owner let his dog run loose when it's so damn wild! My dogs barked loudly at the big dog and it didn't try to attack us anymore but ran across the road and almost got banged by a car.. Stupid dog, should have gotten banged by the car because it has no manners at all.. especially the uneducated owner.. My gosh, damn pissed...

Ha ha, okie, enough of all those pissed off talks, I've nothing to blog anymore because nothing interesting has happened in my life because I'm always at the office on weekdays and I'm real tired when I come home.. However, this weekend, I'll be going to Monash to talk to a counselor about my study choices.. So, we'll see what happens because I'm totally clueless about my future..

~Back from Hibernation~ *haha

I've not been blogging for............................ 6 months!! woooooooot!! who's the lazy person here? YOU!! ha ha. Anyway, I've decided to blog today because I've some free time in the office. For those who do not know, I'm currently doing my internship at an event company for 2 months. I'll be ending my internship the end of this month if everything goes well. As for what I'l'l do after? I'm honestly not sure, I might continue working or I've to take some time off to go university scouting for degree.

I've lots of things that I didn't blog about for the past 6 months but I think that'll be old news if I blog bout it now. So, from now on, I'll just blog about wat's happening this month and the months after, hopefully I won't get the lazy spell again.. =_='

Interning is an eye-opening experience. I've truly enjoyed it during my first month. I would say that amongst all the fields in Mass Communications, event management is my cup of tea. I've personally not tried the other fields like broadcasting, journalism, and etc. However, imagining me as a person handling the camera and writing creative articles is quite depressing. As you can see, my writing isn't that creative for a journalist. Ha ha.

I've received advice from my supervisor and some counsellors that doing a degree in events management is quite useless because what they truly see isn't your certificate but your experience. I truly agree. Hence, it's much wiser to do a general degree in Mass Communications. However, I can't help but wonder if I'll be able to cope with studying degree and working part-time in an event company because I truly love doing events.

Stopping work entirely would just mean that I've to start work over again after my degree. That's not a really good thought because I would be rusty in the events field and lose out on my contacts in the event circle. Keeping in touch with clients and my colleagues and having a good relationship with them helps me get better and learn more useful things about event planning. Oh well, getting a degree is important for my future, I'll just go with the flow then =(

Interning now does not give me any time to go uni scouting. I barely have any idea where I wanna go for my degree. Sigh. It's horrible not knowing what's in store for your future. Maybe, just maybe, I'll enjoy working in a radio station, or a tv station, just pray and hope that the opportunity comes at the right time.

Okies, enough of the emo-ish talk. I kinda miss my dog, CoCo, now, so I'll show you her cutest pictures!!! ha ha ha.. she has nothing to do with my blog post but she's sure a cutie to look at!

~Church Women's Ministry Dinner~

Siu Ching and I signed up for CCKL's Women's Ministry Dinner... So, the plan went like this.. Yesterday was a Tuesday so I didn't have classes so I stayed at home studyin Moral.. Then, I told my brother to pick Siu Ching up from Sunway College because he had classes at Sunway today too.. So he picked her up at Sunway Hostel at 5pm and they came back to my house... Then, I showered, followed by Siu Ching, and we tried on lots of dresses till we find the perfect ones for both of us! Ha ha..it was kinda funny.. we were taking off this and putting on that.. ha ha.. So, I wore the dress that Darling Daniel bought for me for my birthday! Thank you baby.. I know I should've worn it on my birthday but Siu Ching din bring any dress from Raub so she had to borrow mine.. Thank you baby for letting me wear it yesterday night.. Love you very much!!Then, we put on our makeup, did our hair... When we were completely ready looking gorgeous, we camwhored!! ha ha ha.. Here are those pictures.. =D

Then, my brother fetched us to Indian Heritage at Taipan... The restaurant is really really ellegant.... So beautiful.. Then we ate the most delicious Indian food ever!! With Dori fish from Australia and mutton from New Zealand.. everything was soooooo good!!! Then, Pastor Jemima shared about our Women's Ministry.. It was a great night.. Then, my brother fetched Siu Ching home and I went home after too!! And................ I camwhored!!! hahahahahahaha... in the toilet!!hahahahahaha...

~Girl's Day Out~

This happened a few weeks back but I'm gonna post it up now! Coz I'm now juggling my time between studying for the crappy Moral paper this Thursday, playing Restaurant City, playing Pet Society, Youtubing, and blogging! Okies.. So, since Siu Ching came to Sunway, I never really had the chance to go out with her just the two of us girls^^ So, I decided to ask her if she wants me to pick her up from her hostel, go to Pyramid, and come over to my place to stay!! She agreed and we were shoooo excited!!

So Saturday afternoon, I picked her up from the hostel and we went to Pyramid.. We did window shopping.. Trying on dresses... Camwhoring... We ate KFC.. Watched MallCorp and we also ate the ever soooooo divine, Snowy Mango Serbet with loads and loads of Mango on Sago!!! My gosh, every bite felt like paradise..everything around us was soooo beautiful n awesome at that time... hahahaha.. =P Here's the interesting part... the pictures!!

After our dressing up sessions and lots of camwhoring, we went to my house!!! Siu Ching loved my Internet connection coz it was faster than her hostel's... lol... i had to force her to eat dinner coz she din wanna leave the computer... ha ha.. Then, we spent long hours on the computer chatting and playing games and all.. then, we had our very own dress up and make up sessions! ha ha... this is what makes a sleepover perfect and girly.. he he.. So, I put on some make up for Siu Ching and we wore dresses and all.. ha ha ha.. Then, we were drop dead tired, we just slept straightaway once we hit the bed... ha ha.. All in all, it was everything that a girl does during a Girl's Day Out and we loved it^^ Love you Sis!

~Random Day~

Hmm.. I think it was on the 18th of Feb 2009 that we had this random day.. ha ha.. not that random though.. it was just that the things we did were not planned at all.. We were walking at One Utama looking for a shirt for Daniel, then, we saw this jewelery shop, My Diamonds i think, so we decided to go in and ask if it was expensive to engrave our rings.. We asked a different shop before and she charged us like RM60 I think to engrave.. so, we went into My Diamonds and asked if it was cheaper.. It was sure darn cheaper!! It was just RM10 per ring! So, we immediately engraved our rings and it only took the shop like 5 to 10 minutes to get it done!! So, tada! We got our rings engraved^^ My ring has the name, "Daniel" in it and Daniel's ring has the name, "Melodie" in it...duh.. ha ha..

Then, we got home and Daniel wanted to take random pictures of me.. something he wanted to do for a long long time..but I always told him I was tired to pose..but on that day, I was still not that tired, so I let him take my random expressions..ha ha.. here are those pics!

~Sweet Sweet Valentine~ (longest blog but pls read everything^^)

Finally, I have the pictures and the time to blog about my blissfully happy day on Valentine's Day!! As usual, I'll always explain my day as detailed as I can from the beginning till the end.. Here goes..

At exactly 12 am on Valentines Day, I got my 1st Valentine's surprise! Daniel, my loving boyfriend, messaged me the most romantic SMS I've ever gotten.. He said,

And your hugs bring comfort to the deepest corners of my heart.
Thank you for being the most caring, loving, gentle & understanding friend & companion to me.
I absolutely love you my darling, so so much.
Happy Valentine's Day baby, let's celebrate our love today =D

It was a wonderful start to my Valentine's and I can't ask for more than to have a great and happy start to the day and as you will see, a great ending as well^^

After receiving his message, I went to sleep with a happy face..ha ha.. imagine sleeping while smiling... look a bit retarded.. ha ha ha... So, I was sleeping so soundly that I was kinda shocked when my cellphone rang.. Daniel called and said he was in front of my house already!! So, I went down to open the gate for him still wearing my pajamas and with my morning breath.. ha ha.. Then, here comes the 2nd surprise! Daniel, the love of my life, walked towards me with his hands at the back... ha ha.. I saw the bouquet popping out from his back but I just waited for him to surprise me although I was already very very excited in my heart.. He stood right in front of me and...

Tada! he flashed the bouquet of plush roses and his very own home-made card right in front of my face! I was SO darn happy that I could not stop smiling the whole time! I love the bouquet of plush roses because it has meaning. There are 3 big roses which means I LOVE YOU and 2 cute bears which represents Daniel and I. I'm glad he got me those roses because they will never die away and I would not have to throw them away!! So pretty!!

I absolutely, absolutely, super, duper, love the home-made card!! There are lots of little heart shapes glued 3D on the card which Daniel cut on his own one by one.. Imagine cutting those little hearts and slowly pasting them on the card one by one.. My gosh, I'm an arts freak but I wouldn't have the patience to do what he did because it will take days.. The most I'll take to make a card is 2 to 3 days but I'll only spend 1 hour a day to make it. I know he spent lots of days doing it because I'm on web cam with him and everyday he'll tell me he's doing something special.. I know that it's for me but I never never imagined that he's actually taking precious time to cut out small little hearts for me!! There are like almost 200 or more of those little hearts.. Thank you baby darling!!

Not only that, in each page of the card, he went to the shop to get pictures printed out to paste in the card!! Those pictures are so lovely and he took the time to go to the shop to get it printed out even though he's done enough by decorating the card.. The card is way better than those cards in Hallmark or Memory Lane.. it's so personal and so very pretty.. After all my long descriptions.. now you'll get to see how it really looks like!! Oh yea, the size of the card is A4 yea, the pictures are quite small=D

After giving me the bouquet of plush roses and the beautiful card, I went upstairs to change into something simple to go grocery shopping in Giant.. Before I went to change, Daniel took out another surprise for me.. he he... It's our Valentine's Shopping List!! He even took time to make a shopping list!!

When I got into the car to go to Giant, I got my 3rd and the biggest surprise!! Daniel took out from the back seat, a big, huge, present for me!! I was so very very shocked!! I just did not know what to say! When I opened the present, I was so very very happy beyond any words can express.. It's something I've never had before in my life! It's a musical box and not any musical box, it's also a jewelery box! The ones you see in Memory Lane.. It's so sweet and girly, I absolutely love it! I love you very very much baby.. Thank you for knowing what I love^^

After our fun-filled shopping in Giant, we immediately went back to my place to start cooking!! Let these pictures do the talking^^

I wore pink ear-rings, pink necklace, and a pink hair brooch.. Enjoy the pictures!

After the performance, we drove to The Curve for dinner!! We ate our beloved Secret Recipe!! He he.. it's our old faithful restaurant^^

I love every single action you did and every single thought that you put in for this Valentine baby.. I truly am very blessed to have you in my life.. Life without you would be so stagnant and lack of excitement.. I love you to bits!! You're my yummy, sweety, sugar, honey, cupcake, and all the sweet things I can think of!! Today..or should I say yesterday.. coz it's 1:28am now and Daniel just drove back home.. was and is the happiest day of my life^^ I was surprised 3 times starting on the first second of Valentine's.. At exactly 12am on Valentine's day, Daniel, my love, messaged me the sweetest message through SMS.. What was the message? I'll blog it once I get all those lovely pictures from my baby darling^^ I just can't wait to blog coz I'm so darn happy!! I love love love love love love love love love you sugar darling honey cupcake mushkin baby and all the lovey dovey words.. I adore you my Daniel.. mmuuuaaaahhhh with lots of muaaaaaahhh... I just wish that we have all the time in the world to spend with each other.. Now I'm all alone and I'm hoping that it's the start of the day again.. I miss you badly.. can't wait to talk to you and see you again tomorrow.. love you very very much.. ~ My Bestest BFF Ever ~

I had a wonderful time at Siu Ching's house yesterday... sigh.. I thought meeting up with her would make me miss her less.. but no!! I miss her more now that I'm not with her today... sobsob.. I'm back to my KL life and traffic jams and malls and boredom... my lonely house with just my laptop and I... actually no... my Grandpa, Grandpa's maid, parents, brother and dogs are at home...but.. i'm still bored and lonely!! Daniel is video calling me on MSN making my boredom seem less serious and Siu Ching, Daniel and I just played Viwawa which was a very exciting crazy moment.. Boredom..Be Gone..

I loved every moment that I spent with Siu Ching yesterday and today although it was only for a short time and time passed really really quickly when we're together!! We laughed a lot and shared a lot.. No matter how much time we spent together, it will still not be able to make up for the times we've lost being together as best friends.. Imagine what beautiful memories we'll have if we stayed close to each other.. sigh.. Anyway, we camwhored!! Our sisterly camwhoring session is a MUST in every sisterly meeting..hehe..

18/12, Kanachanaburi, town of the Bridge Over the River Kwai Fame. Stop over to watch millions of bats flying out of the caves during dusk in Ratchanaburi. Will reach Kanchanaburi late at night.

19/12, Cover some of the historical sights in Kanchanaburi, then drive to Srinigarindra National Park for the night.
Walk to some of the beautiful waterfalls in the park, and swim in them. Overnight in cabins there. Some of us can camp there too.

20/12, Come back to Kanchanaburi and visit the rest of the sight around it, like Hell Fire Pass, ride the Death Railway, Sai Yoke, and etc. Overnight in Kanchanaburi, maybe in one of the river raft hotels.

21/12, Long drive to Sukhothai, the 1st ancient capital of Thailand and a Unesco protected area. Along the way, try some of the best BBQ live Udang Galah in the world. Visit the ancient ruins there and stay for the beautiful sunset among all the ruins.

22/12, Enjoy Wild Honey comb with toast for breakfast here in the hotel, if we can book the rooms early. Another long drive to Home Of Blessing., hope to reach there before sunset. Staying in basic lodging in the Orphanage for the next 3 nights.

23/12, Have fellowship with Pastor and family and the girls. Walk at the local morning market. Try the authentic and cheap local massage, cheapest in Thailand. After lunch, we will drive to the mountains to have Christmas Celebrations with the local tribes there. Expect to camp in the village. Not confirm yet. If no overnight, we will drive back to HOB.

24/12, Shop for all the food and ingredients needed to prepare Christmas Meals for 115 children of the Home. Christmas Eve celebrations with our host, sharing and singing the whole night thru.

25/12, Time to leave the girls and our host, for Chiang Rai. We will visit Goldern Triangle, and Burmese border area and towns. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

26/12, Visit the Queens Garden in Doi Tung, then some tribal villages along the way. Doi mae Salong for the Komintang Village and scenic drives. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

27/12, Drive to Mae Hong Son, have to drive thru more than a thousand bends to get there. Visit the Fish Cave National Park, and also the Long Neck karens in their villages.

28/12, Drive along one of the most beautiful country road in Thailand to get to Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest mountain in Thailand at about 10,000 feet above sea level. the land of waterfalls, and beautiful treking area. Staying in dorms at the park. Some can camp here. Expect night time temp to be zero degrees C.

29/12, Spend the whole day exploying the park, before driving to Chiang Mai for overnight.

30/12, Cover the whole of Chiang Mai has to offer.

31/12, Visit one of the biggest flower show in the world, if it is still on. Night view of Chiang Mai.

01/01, Drive to Bangkok, reaching in the night.

02/01, Bangkok city tour and night river cruise.

03/01, Visit Floating Market, before driving off to Surat Thani for over night stop.

04/01, Drive back to Ipoh / KL.
