Alright.. all done.. now..for my mood.... hmmm......you know what? I'll post my Thailand itenary then you guys are able to see where Daniel and I are throughout the journey.. hehe.. feel free to join us k? As to my personal post about what happened in the past few weeks/months.. I'll cut it short now.. I had my super duper stressful finals and assignments and presentations and projects.. Then, I went to darling's condo to stay for a whole week exercising and keeping fit in the gym and going swimming while taking care of darling's wounded leg.. Going out for double dates with Joanne and Adam.. You can read bout them in Joanne's blog.. hehe.. And..erm... cleaning my room!! It looks bigger, fresher, cleaner, and brighter now!! So, tat's all.. Now, here's my itenary>>>>
17/12, Surat Thani. Overnight stop for rest. Visit to the esplanate and also the local night market.
18/12, Kanachanaburi, town of the Bridge Over the River Kwai Fame. Stop over to watch millions of bats flying out of the caves during dusk in Ratchanaburi. Will reach Kanchanaburi late at night.
19/12, Cover some of the historical sights in Kanchanaburi, then drive to Srinigarindra National Park for the night.
Walk to some of the beautiful waterfalls in the park, and swim in them. Overnight in cabins there. Some of us can camp there too.
20/12, Come back to Kanchanaburi and visit the rest of the sight around it, like Hell Fire Pass, ride the Death Railway, Sai Yoke, and etc. Overnight in Kanchanaburi, maybe in one of the river raft hotels.
21/12, Long drive to Sukhothai, the 1st ancient capital of Thailand and a Unesco protected area. Along the way, try some of the best BBQ live Udang Galah in the world. Visit the ancient ruins there and stay for the beautiful sunset among all the ruins.
22/12, Enjoy Wild Honey comb with toast for breakfast here in the hotel, if we can book the rooms early. Another long drive to Home Of Blessing., hope to reach there before sunset. Staying in basic lodging in the Orphanage for the next 3 nights.
23/12, Have fellowship with Pastor and family and the girls. Walk at the local morning market. Try the authentic and cheap local massage, cheapest in Thailand. After lunch, we will drive to the mountains to have Christmas Celebrations with the local tribes there. Expect to camp in the village. Not confirm yet. If no overnight, we will drive back to HOB.
24/12, Shop for all the food and ingredients needed to prepare Christmas Meals for 115 children of the Home. Christmas Eve celebrations with our host, sharing and singing the whole night thru.
25/12, Time to leave the girls and our host, for Chiang Rai. We will visit Goldern Triangle, and Burmese border area and towns. Overnight in Chiang Rai.
26/12, Visit the Queens Garden in Doi Tung, then some tribal villages along the way. Doi mae Salong for the Komintang Village and scenic drives. Overnight in Chiang Rai.
27/12, Drive to Mae Hong Son, have to drive thru more than a thousand bends to get there. Visit the Fish Cave National Park, and also the Long Neck karens in their villages.
28/12, Drive along one of the most beautiful country road in Thailand to get to Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest mountain in Thailand at about 10,000 feet above sea level. the land of waterfalls, and beautiful treking area. Staying in dorms at the park. Some can camp here. Expect night time temp to be zero degrees C.
29/12, Spend the whole day exploying the park, before driving to Chiang Mai for overnight.
30/12, Cover the whole of Chiang Mai has to offer.
31/12, Visit one of the biggest flower show in the world, if it is still on. Night view of Chiang Mai.
01/01, Drive to Bangkok, reaching in the night.
02/01, Bangkok city tour and night river cruise.
03/01, Visit Floating Market, before driving off to Surat Thani for over night stop.
04/01, Drive back to Ipoh / KL.
