I'm currently busy with 2 huge assignments due next week so I won't be blogging till my nightmare's over.. However, I'll give you a sneak peak on my next blog post which is just... a picture of me.. ha ha.. but I'll talk more about my little adventure on one fine night when I've the time to blog^^

My B'day Surprise From My Dearie Joanne ^^

25th April, '10

I received an SMS from Joanne saying that she'll be driving to my house at around 10pm or 11pm to come pick me up to visit our friend. So, while waiting, I was practicing for my American Music Presentation for the next day...

Then, Joanne called me, "Sue, I'm outside your house." So, I opened the house gates, and she came in and said, "Can you come out of the house? I really need to talk to you about something important."

She said it in a SUPER SUPER SUPER SAD FACE AND VOICE. I was so worried that something bad happened. So I walked out of the house in my nighties and crossed the road towards Shah's (Jo's bf) car...

And..............................................

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU..HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.."

Jo and Shah started singing the Happy Birthday song..... Right in front of me was the opened car boot with a box of Cupcake Chic Birthday Cupcakes, a huge amazing handmade birthday card, beautiful butterfly magnets, and lovely scented candles..

 The lovely hand-made card by Joanne =) The pictures are from the 1st year we met each other ^^ It's been 4 years!! =D

 Yummy Cupcakes!! I'm sweet-toothed, this is like heaven for me!! ^^

All of the amazing things all of a sudden.. How can I not cry right on the spot???

Who says a perfect birthday celebration must be huge, grand, and diva-ish? All this small meaningful things are what makes things perfect, especially when it really comes from the heart..

I love you, Joanne Gan, to pieces.. I'm so blessed to have met you in my life=) We'll always cherish each other no matter what shit happens.. Thank you for being such an amazing bestie and sister to me^^

I had a great night yesterday, thanks to the awesome friends from the Activities Committee..

They gave me a fantastic early birthday surprise yesterday night and I'm so so touched by their gestures=)

They've been great friends in so many ways.. an awesome bunch of friends that will definitely put a smile on your face when you hang out with them=D

I'M BEYOND TIRED.

With all the assignments and activities in uni.. I have no time to pamper myself anymore=(

I have a whole list of things I've always wanted to do but I can never get the time to do it...


My To-Do List:

1. Trim, perm, & dye my hair.

2. Manicure & Pedicure.

3. Facial (I've not had one in my entire life).

4. Finish reading the two inspirational books I got.

5. Clean up my closet.

6. Walk my dogs.

7. Blog about my Japan trip.


I miss the times when things were much more simple... =(

I'm Going Bonkers Coz of Literature

Psychoanalysis theory, Romanticism, textual criticism, authorial criticism..

What's this with studying all these people with weird minds and psycho problems?

I think by the end of this semester, I'll just be one of the specimens for them to study because I'll turn into one of those weirdos I'm researching on..

Omigosh, I think this subject is brain-washing me in so many freaky ways..

Pray that I'll be the same person after this semester.

My JAPAN posts have been delayed for a LOOOOOOOONNNGGG time...

I'm so very sorry to tell you guys that it'll be delayed till the end of this month because my assignments are slowly taking the life out of me =(

I will try to post up notifications on Facebook, Twitter, and MSN to inform you guys once I've uploaded the posts on Japan =)

Meanwhile, I'll be posting up short posts on my daily life if possible.. although I've a feeling that it won't be as happening because I'll be living a very stress-filled boring life this month.. ha ha

I MIGHT be going to Euphoria on the 10th of April if my assignments are doing fine.. I need a break!!!
